First and foremost, C&G Vina would like to express our sincere appreciation for your trust and continuous cooperation over the past time.
Recently, due to the increasingly complex geopolitical tension and global conflicts, the cost of raw materials used in the production of film-faced plywood has risen significantly.
Specifically, several key materials have experienced notable increases, including film paper (up by 8–12%), core veneer (approximately 10%), and glue (around 10%). In addition, fuel prices have increased by approximately 60–70% compared to previous levels and are expected to continue rising in the near future. This has led to substantial increases in transportation, logistics, and production costs.
Furthermore, following the Lunar New Year holiday, the supply of logs in Northern Vietnam has become more limited due to the humid weather conditions as well as labor shortages in logs harvesting and peeling. This situation is partly attributed to the fact that many traditional festivals take place after the holiday, further tightening the supply of core veneer and exerting additional upward pressure on input costs.
Over the past period, C&G Vina has made every effort to maintain stable pricing in order to support our valued customers. However, due to the continuously increasing cost pressures, we regret to inform you that the prices of C&G Vina’s plywood will be adjusted as follows:
